My most recent experince is working as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner within children and young people's mental health services within the NHS, based in primary care. This role involves specialist assessment, therapeutic intervention and consultation for children and adolescents experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties. I work closely with young people, parents and professional networks, including GPs, schools, social care and specialist mental health services.

I provide individual psychodynamic psychotherapy, offering children and adolescents a confidential and supportive space to explore their thoughts, feelings, relationships and experiences. My approach is particularly informed by my understanding of early relationships, attachment, unconscious processes, emotional development and the ways in which difficulties can emerge within relationships and behaviour.

My extensive clinical background also enables me to draw, where appropriate, on complementary approaches including CBT-informed interventions, systemic thinking, family work and play-based therapeutic techniques. These approaches are considered within a broader psychodynamic formulation rather than applied as a one-size-fits-all model.
